5 – Curiosity & Creativity

Curiosity & Creativity: Asking “why?” and “why not?” about the world around you.

Image for the condition of Curiosity & CreativityMihaly Csikszentmihalyi points out in his book “Creativity” that being creative is not a personal attribute, but rather a social activity. Teams of people, working in domains and fields are required for creativity to happen. This is good news for us in designing online learning environments, as we can make sure we support the formation and nurturing of such teams as they pursue their “why” and “why not” questions, and the activities that result.
